Why Go Solar?
Manny’s system was designed to eliminate his electric bill entirely, replacing a $730/month utility cost with a $29/month residual bill and a low, fixed solar loan payment. With utility rates rising 4% annually on average, locking in a predictable solar rate protects against decades of increases. The system was installed on a roof ready for solar, and inspection was completed on December 29, 2025, with the system powering the home by January 2026.
This project is a perfect example of how Maryland homeowners can leverage federal tax credits, state grants, and low-interest financing to go solar with zero down and start saving immediately.
